Blood Ties  premiered on LIF on March 11, 2007. This series is about a private eye drawn into the supernatural, based upon "The Blood Books" novels by Tanya Huff. Vicki Nelson is a cop-turned-private investigator who witnesses a murder that she believes to be the work of a serial killer. After the victim's girlfriend hires her she comes to believe that the killer might not be entirely of this world. Vicki's investigation leads her to a vampire named Henry Fitzroy, the illegitimate son of Henry VIII, who becomes her partner both professionally and romantically. That doesn't sit will with Vicki's ex Mike Celluci, who's also working the case.
