Calvin And The Colonel is about the misadventures of Colonel Montgomery J. Klaxon (a sharp, wily fox), and Calvin Burnside (a dimwitted bear). This show was created by the people who voiced Amos and Andy radio show, Freeman F. Gosden, and Charles J. Correll. The show premiered in prime time in October 1961, but was moved to Saturday mornings in January 1962 after it fared poorly in the prime time ratings.
