DAG premiered on NBC on November 14, 2000. Secret Service Agent Jerome Daggett is one of the President's finest; that is until he dodged right when he should've dodged left during an assassination attempt. Needless to say, he is quickly reassigned to a post where dodging bullets won't matter as much: guarding the First Lady and her daughter. He's now running errands, organizing luncheons and walking the dog. As much as he wants his old job back, he and his new boss develop a mutual, unspoken fondness and he also becomes a surrogate father figure to the First Teen. He soon realizes he's starting to actually care about this family - definitely not what he bargained for!
