Dragnet(2003) premiered on ABC on February 2, 2003. Dragnet is one of the preeminent brands in the history of television. Dragnet originated on NBC in 1949 as a radio drama, then moved to the small screen in 1952, running for seven years in its initial incarnation. It resurfaced in 1967 for three more years, starring Jack Webb as the no-nonsense, "just the facts, ma'am" LAPD Sergeant. The series changed its name to L.A. Dragnet beginning with the second season.
