Dragon  premiered on NBC on September 9, 2006. Based on the renowned books by beloved children's author, David Pilkey (The Adventures of Captain Underpants, The Dumb Bunnies), Dragon is a new claymation series for preschoolers that captures the endearing and insightful life stories of the loveable hero, Dragon. Set in an imaginary animal world where ostriches work in stores, mice deliver the mail and beavers snore, the series playfully explores themes that are universally identifiable to children, including wanting a friend, being afraid of the dark and trying not to eat too much candy and ice cream.
