Fawlty Towers premiered on BBC on September 19, 1975. The series is about Basil Fawlty, who runs a hotel in Britain. He gets into many humorous and unusual situations during the course of the show. Basil is played by John Cleese of Monty Python and he is, as usual, very funny and witty. This show is well written and very entertaining. It was hip before its time!
