Fired Up premiered on NBC on April 10, 1997. Fired up takes one high powered self-centered executive (Gwen played by Sharon Lawrence) in charge of promotions at a large Manhattan firm and her personal assistant (Terry played by Leah Remini), both of whom suddenly gets laid off. Neither is prepared to be out of work, so they decide to go into business together. Although it is agreed it is to be an equal partnership some partners seem to be more equal than the other is. Throw in a brother as a roommate, a handsome young writer and a restaurateur who is providing an apartment (above his restaurant), who is infatuated by his new tenant Gwen who doesn't reciprocate the feelings. Add all this up and you get an explosive situation full of laughs.
