These were half hour long cartoons in a half hour format. Godzilla had become a phenomenon in the 70's and Hanna-Barbera came up with this outing of the giant radioactive dinosaur. The series premiered September 9, 1978 on NBC. This cartoon has Captain Carl Majors, Professor Quinn Darian and Brock her young assistant. The cast rounds out with a child named Pete and a small baby godzilla named Godzooky whom Godzilla has left in the humans care to keep him out of trouble. In return Godzilla answers a sonic call that captain Majors sends out whenever trouble is around and they need BiGGG!! help - Godzilla to the rescue! Good Storylines for the 70's with SF overtures.
