Six Flags Magic Mountain is located at the Six Flags California entertainment destination, minutes north of Hollywood and one hour south of Bakersfield at the Magic Mountain Parkway exit off Interstate 5 in Valencia.
Directions from Anaheim: Take the Interstate 5 Freeway north. Exit Magic Mountain Parkway, left at traffic signal at the bottom of the exit ramp going under the Freeway overpass. Proceed along Magic Mountain Parkway to Parking Toll Booths and entrance to Six Flags California.
Directions from Hollywood/Universal City: Take the 101 Freeway north to the 170 Freeway north. Take the 170 Freeway north to the Interstate 5 Freeway north (the 170 Freeway automatically ends at the I-5 north). Take Interstate 5 north to Magic Mountain Parkway. Exit Magic Mountain Parkway, left at traffic signal at the bottom of the exit ramp going under the Freeway overpass. Proceed along Magic Mountain Parkway to Parking Toll Booths and entrance to Six Flags California.
Directions from San Diego: There are two main Freeways that run out of San Diego. From Interstate 5 - Take Interstate 5 north. Proceed along Magic Mountain Parkway to Parking Toll Booths and entrance to Six Flags California. From the Interstate 15 Freeway - Take the Interstate 15 north to the Interstate 10 Freeway west. Take the Interstate 10 Freeway west to the Interstate 210 Freeway west. Take Interstate 210 Freeway west to the Interstate 5 Freeway north (the 210 automatically ends at the I-5 north). Six Flags Magic Mountain is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is prohibited everywhere in the Park except for the designated smoking areas located near Colossus Cookery Restrooms, Fort Le John Restrooms, Superman Restrooms, Bugs Bunny World Restrooms (in back of Mooseburger Lodge), Cyclone Bay Restrooms, Scrambler Restrooms, Gotham City Backlot Restrooms, Rapids Camp Restrooms, Inside Main Gate Restrooms, Flashback Plaza Restrooms and X Plaza. Smoking is prohibited by Guests under 18.
Dress Code

As a family theme park, Six Flags Magic Mountain must enforce a dress code. Shoes and shirts must be worn at all times. Bikini tops, skate shoes or any footwear with wheels, clothing with inappropriate words, phrases and/or graphics are NOT allowed.

Cameras are not permitted on rides. Six Flags requires that all photographs or videos taken by guests be used for their personal enjoyment ONLY. Any use, reuse or reproduction for commercial purposes without the express written consent of Six Flags is prohibited.
First Aid

Located between Gotham City Backlot entrance and Magic Moments Theatre. A first aid employee is on duty at all times. Over-the-counter medications are available for a nominal charge at: Attitudes, Flags, Guest Necessity Center, and Six Flags Kids. Medications are not available at First Aid.

For information on services offered to guests with disabilities, please visit Guest Relations located in Six Flags Plaza where representatives will be pleased to help personalize your visit. Pick up the "Guest with Disabilities Guidebook", - a handout that provides detailed information on accessibility of rides, shows, games, shops and restaurants. Other services provided include telecommunications devises (TDD) at Guest Relations and First Aid, assisted listening devices at Guest Relations.

Severe Weather

At Six Flags Magic Mountain, nothing is more important to us than your safety. Rides may be closed for a time if there is lightning in the area, high winds, or if there is rain. They will re-open just as soon as we can assure totally safe operation.
Pet Kennel

Pet boarding is provided for FREE at the kennel, which is located in the main parking lot. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PET IN OR TIED TO A VEHICLE WHILE YOU VISIT THE PARK.
Flash Pass

The Flash Pass can be purchased for $15 (Sunday - Friday)or $20 (Saturday) at the ticket booths, The Flash Pass booth (behind Guest Relations in Six Flags Plaza) or at the Guest Necessities Center. A limited number of The Flash Pass are available for purchase each operating day. The passes will be available only while supplies last and are valid only on the day of purchase.
The rides available for The Flash Pass vary from day-to-day (please check with the host/hostess at The Flash Pass booth for a list of specific rides available). Each The Flash Pass is good for four priority boarding opportunities: 1 person x 4 rides, 2 people x 2 rides, 4 people x 1 ride... it's your choice! The Flash Pass program does not require any sort of reservation or pre-determined arrival time. Simply choose your ride and follow The Flash Pass directions.

Twickets

Purchase a Twicket before you leave the Park for the day and experience Six Flags thrills one more time at a minimal fee. Twickets are valid on any paid admission. Show your ticket stub at the Fast Lane/Twicket Booth (behind Guest Relations in Six Flags Plaza). Please note that Twickets must be used within a certain number of days from the date of purchase (usually between 7 and 14 days - see the host/hostess at the Booth) - make sure to plan your second visit within that time frame. Pay the fee (prices vary - see the host/hostess at the Booth) and sign your new ticket (note that the person purchasing the Twicket must be present to sign his or her name). When you come back for your second visit, the host or hostess at the turn stile will ask you to sign your name one more time (in order to make sure that it's you - the signatures have to match) and that's it.
