Otherworld premiered on CBS on January 26, 1985. The series is about the Sterlings, a normal Southern California family. The family visits the pyramids in Egypt and end up in another dimension because of a strange plantary alignment. They try to find their way back to their own world and survive in the world they are in atthe same time. They get a crystal that gives them the ability to do much of what they need in that world, and are constantly chased by its owner who wants it back.
