Presidio Med premiered on CBS on September 24, 2002. The series stars a triumvirate of award-winning actresses - Emmy winner Dana Delany and stage veterans Blythe Danner and Anna Deavere Smith - as it chronicles the lives of a group of female physicians in a private San Francisco practice. Their personal beliefs, unique experiences and separate specialties may be at odds now and then, both with each other and with the system they report to, but all influence how they heal their patients and relate to the world inside and outside their practice.
