Rags To Riches premiered on NBC on March 9, 1987. This series was set in the 1960s and was about a wealthy playboy named Nick Foley. In order to appear more respectable to clients in his business, Foley decides to adopt six female orphans. With help from his butler, John Clapper, he oversaw the girls' lives and upbringing complete with songs and musical numbers in each episode.
