Reba premiered on WB on October 5, 2001. The show is about Reba Hart, a Texas soccer mom who's watching her white picket fence collapse before her eyes. Her very soon-to-be ex-husband, Brock, is a dentist who's fallen for his obnoxiously perky, born-again hygienist, Barbara Jean. Reba's 17-year-old daughter, Cheyenne, is pregnant and ready to marry Van, the local football star. Younger daughter Kyra, 12, is never without a scathingly precocious quip, while youngest son Jake, 9, just wants the entire nightmare to go away. They certainly aren't candidates for a Rockwell portrait, but Reba and her family muddle through their domestic morass the only way they know how: with brutal honesty and bare-knuckled poise.
