That's Life premiered on CBS on April 28, 2007, 2000. Lydia Savage is a thirtysomething woman from New Jersey who has abruptly ended her engagement to a guy whose greatest excitement about their upcoming nuptials was over the microwave he'd hoped to score at her bridal shower. To the usual befuddlement of her blue-collar family and friends, she decides to enroll at Montclair University, a prestigious school on the other side of the tracks, populated by kids who act as if they're on top of the world that they own anyway. Now she's a true fish out of water, swimming with students often book-smarter than she is, but it won't be long before they realize how much they (and even some of her professors) will be learning from her.
