This cartoon series was a half-hour long. It was produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions and premiered on CBS on September 7, 1974. The series was about a family who got caught in a whirlpool in the Amazon river. The whirlpool sent them back in time to the days of cavemen and prehistoric animals. Once there they had to learn to survive and live in the past. They met a prehistoric family there - Gorak, his wife Gera, and their daughter Tana.
